he always starts off by making the drums(mostly that offbeat feel) then he searches for oldies to make own sounds from(no looping)(then plays extra melodys into the beat,so its always original (rappers,dont worry about rights!!NOT ALL BEATS BUT he will LET YOU KNOW ;) ) or plays his own funk into the beat WITHOUT SAMPLING .
